Admission Procedure

All children registered are expected to appear for a written entrance examination comprising of three papers namely, English, Mathematics and General Awareness, (except classes Play group, Nursery, J.KG & S.KG) where separate interviews with the child and the parents are mandatory.

If you wish to get admitted to William Carey International School, you will need to follow the following steps:

• Parents will then need to complete the form fully and hand it over to the Admissions Office along with your latest school report card and a transfer certificate (if applicable). Parents should also include any additional information that might be useful in processing your application (e.g., references and testimonials).
• In most cases, applicants are asked to sit for an admissions test to determine the student’s academic ability and English proficiency. This enables the school to determine a student’s deficiencies and rectify them in due course.
• Student vacancies fill up quickly at William Carey International School – hence, the school recommends that students do not delay their applications if they wish to apply to the institution.
• All students must strictly adhere to all the rules of the school if given a conditional place.
• In order to progress from one year to the next, students are required to score a minimum overall 50%. A promotion is granted only to those who have worked hard throughout the academic year, who have gained a minimum passing score, and those who are capable of persuading their teachers that they are capable of using their academic ability and time constructively.
